Job summary

Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU) in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Consumer Lending Representative. This full-time role starts at $20.00/hour with potential to work from home after training. You will handle inbound loan inquiries, process various consumer loans, and educate members on products to improve their financial well-being.

Training occurs at the Staples location in Corpus Christi. The position offers a path for promotion and access to RBFCU's Learning and Development

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• 9 months financial institution experience or 1.5 years customer service experience.
• Proficient with PC, software, and Microsoft applications; 25 words per minute typing and 10-key by touch.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a team and build relationships with external parties.
• Flexible Monday-Saturday schedule; strong attendance and time management.
• Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills loan applications and finalizes various consumer lending loans.
• Provides enthusiastic, professional service to members.
• Discusses and recommends products to meet member needs.
• Processes paperwork and collects fees to complete title work.
• Informs members of loan decisions and eligibility for ancillary products.
