RBFCU Insurance Agency LLC in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a full-time Consumer Lending Representative. You will handle inbound loan applications via phone and video chat, process and fund consumer loans, and build relationships with members.

Starting wage is $20.00 per hour with remote work eligibility after training at our Staples location. Bilingual English/Spanish certification adds $2.00 per hour; we value service and development opportunities.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 9 months financial institution experience or 1.5 years customer service experience.
• Proficient with PC/Microsoft applications; 25 wpm typing and 10-key by touch.

**Job Description and Requirements**The RBFCU Consumer Lending Team is seeking a full-time Consumer Lending Representative starting at **$20.00/hour!** The Consumer Lending Representative will have the ability to work from home after a period of training (time frame may vary). Training will take place at the Staples location: **5253 S. Staples, Corpus Christi, TX 78411**. To successfully work from home, employees must have access to a minimum internet connection as noted by RBFCU.* Must have a reliable home internet provider to hard wire a connection to (Ethernet cable provided).* Must be able to provide a workspace at home that is safe, suitable for work, and within a distraction free environment. ***Bilingual in Spanish and English?******Candidates can earn an additional $2.00 differential upon the successful completion of the RBFCU Bilingual Spanish/English certification.*** As a Consumer Lending Representative, you will be the dedicated professional assisting members and prospective members who are seeking consumer loans through primarily inbound channels (phone and video chat). You’ll provide exceptional service while you process and finalize a variety of consumer loans, and you’ll engage with our members and prospective members to build relationships, utilize your problem-solving skills to identify needs, and educate them on products and services that will improve their financial well-being and quality of life. If you have a passion for helping others, a career with RBFCU may be just for you.**Essential Functions and Responsibilities:*** Fulfill member and prospective member loan applications and inquiries and finalize/fund various types of consumer lending loans.* Provide enthusiastic, professional, quality, prompt and courteous service to members and others as appropriate.* Discuss and recommend products and services to meet the needs of the member and the mission of RBFCU.* Process paperwork, and collect fees required to complete title work.* Inform members of loan decisions and provide information for ancillary loan products.* Maintain current working knowledge of RBFCU policies and procedures and regulatory laws.* Include appropriate people in decision-making process and make timely and informed decisions.* Accept responsibility, follow through on commitment, and react well under pressure.* Strive to meet or exceed department standards.* All other duties as assigned (Note: essential functions and responsibilities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice). **Requirements:*** High School Diploma or G.E.D.* A minimum of 9 months financial institution experience **or** 11⁄2 years customer service experience* Must be proficient in utilizing PC, software, Microsoft applications, and other office equipment (type 25 words per minute and 10 key by touch)* Possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills* Ability and desire to work well in a team environment and develop strong working relationships with external parties* Good attendance, promptness, accuracy and time management is essential* **Must be able to work a flexible Monday-Saturday schedule (Hours of operation: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)** **Preferred:*** Bilingual (English/Spanish) ***All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other legally protected status.***
