Job summary

Siemens Mobility seeks an experienced Consulting Engineer to deploy and support full stack Siemens hardware and software in complex machine-building applications across the continental US. You will work with CNC lathes, mills, robotics, and 3D printing, providing hands-on training, API integration, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will lead engineering initiatives, mentor teams, and help customers optimize operations with Sinumerik technology while staying current on industry advances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; strong motion control and mixed IT/OT skills.
• 8+ years engineering experience in motion control and complex system design.
• Experience with Siemens Sinumerik and automation applications is a plus.
• Familiarity with software tools: .NET, ASP, Jquery, RabbitMQ, MySQL, OData 7.

Responsibilities

• Technology deployment and support for Sinumerik and Siemens PLC technology.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers.
• Develop training programs and workshops for customers.
• Collaborate with product management and sales to align engineering with business goals.
• Create knowledge base articles to empower customers and reduce support needs.
• Participate in API integration and AI-enabled technology rollouts.
