Job summary

Martin & Company, a seasoned insurance advisory and consulting firm, seeks a Consulting Actuary specializing in Workers’ Compensation. The role delivers actuarial expertise across client engagements and requires deep technical knowledge, regulatory familiarity, and practical industry experience.

You will develop models, support regulatory strategy, and provide data-driven insights while collaborating with practice leaders and clients to enhance outcomes and profitability in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years actuarial experience with a focus on Workers’ Compensation
• ACAS or Fellowship preferred; or pursuing ACAS with listed exams
• Experience with insurance data and rate level indications
• Knowledge of Commercial and Personal Lines and state rate & filing requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct pricing studies and recommendations for Workers’ Compensation lines
• Support rate development, trend analysis, loss cost evaluations, and profitability
• Prepare filings in coordination with compliance and regulatory teams
• Translate actuarial findings into actionable client-facing insights and reports
