Job summary

GAI Consultants Inc. is seeking an Associate Construction Technician to perform construction inspection on Power Generation projects. The role supports earthwork, foundation inspection, test boring inspection, and concrete testing, with the option to work remotely and travel across Pennsylvania.

You'll interpret specifications and drawings, conduct soil and concrete tests, and document field activities and results, collaborating with engineers, contractors, and clients throughout projects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% during weekdays.
• Able to lift and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications for field observations.
• Conduct field tests and laboratory tests on soils and concrete.
• Collect samples, prepare specimens, record data, and summarize results.
• Document field activities and testing results for projects.
• Communicate test results with staff, contractors, and clients.
