Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee the preconstruction and execution of retrofit, expansion, and industrial building projects across the United States. You will coordinate design, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and strict adherence to design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a comparable field.
• 7+ years in Architecture/Engineering/Construction Management.
• 7+ years in project management from design through operation and handoff.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction management for retrofit, expansion and industrial projects from concept to handoff.
• Obtain and document project specifics from site selection and transaction management.
• Coordinate engineering and architectural specs for each building type and conduct site visits.
• Manage coordination related to transportation, internal requirements and line-of-business standards.
• Develop and provide documents for lease execution including site plans and schedules.
• Create initial construction schedules and phasing plans to support complex projects.
• Prepare construction cost estimates for capital requests and budgeting.
