Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Construction Manager for a 1-year contract (W-2) to oversee the safe, on-site execution of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and associated substation construction from pre-construction through commissioning and turnover. The CM serves as the owner's on-site representative and reports to the onsite manager.

Location is Mid-West (Central Region) with per diem available; remote position indicated, travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 8+ years of construction management experience.
• Experience overseeing utility-scale battery energy storage or substation projects is a plus.
• On-site leadership with strong safety and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field execution, ensuring contract documents, engineering, safety, budget, schedule and quality goals are met.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Development, Supply Chain, Environmental, Commissioning and external team members through project lifecycle.
