Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Field Supervisor for a 1-year contract to oversee the construction of a 100-MW battery energy storage system connecting to an existing substation. The role involves on-site leadership, vendor coordination, and ensuring adherence to safety and electrical standards.

The position requires travel across the US, with a typical schedule from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, particularly with electrical installations.
• Knowledge of Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Ability to create logs and reports using computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, electrical, and construction standards.
• Maintain daily interactions with third-party vendors and contractors to ensure adherence to plans and processes.
• Monitor and promote safety on-site, protecting personnel and equipment.
• Create daily logs, take progress photographs, and communicate updates to the Construction Manager and site leadership.
• Manage installation of electrical components, including cable and conduit installation, splicing and testing, locates, and foundations.
• Implement and follow Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures and travel to project sites as needed.
