Job summary

Byline Bank is seeking a Construction Loan Administrator to support loan processing, documentation, and administrative operations. The role involves analyzing draws, coordinating with customers, loan officers, title companies, and architects, and ensuring compliance with loan covenants.

You will review statements, insurance, and invoices; liaise with multiple stakeholders; and participate in a hybrid work environment combining remote and in-office days.

Qualifications

• 3+ years construction loan administration experience within a financial institution.
• Working knowledge of construction loan concepts.
• Qualitative analytical skills.
• Knowledge of MS Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Strong change management, organizational and planning capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and prepare construction draws/disbursement requests and forms for construction loans.
• Assist with funding draws and handle inquiries from customers, loan officers, and title companies.
• Analyze and reconcile construction budgets and costs to complete; verify loan covenants.
• Review Sworn Owner/Contractor Statements, AIA docs, invoices, lien waivers.
• Engage inspecting architects for plan/cost reviews and monthly inspections.
• Review/accept insurance from owner and contractor for construction loans.
• Serve as liaison between title companies, architects, loan officers, borrowers, attorneys, and contractors.
• Back up collateral monitoring functions as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
