Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Construction Loan Administrator to support complex construction lending projects from pre-closing through project completion.

You will partner with Relationship Managers, borrowers, attorneys, title companies, construction consultants, and internal teams to ensure disbursements are properly administered and protected. This role focuses on budgets, draw packages, inspections, funding decisions, and ongoing oversight from closing to stabilization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate loan administration, construction lending, or construction disbursement administration.
• OR 7+ years of transferable experience in commercial lending, CRE, construction finance, or related construction industry functions.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze construction loan documents before closing with a focus on disbursement requirements and funding structures.
• Negotiate and administer construction-related loan provisions to ensure controls and risk mitigation.
• Establish and maintain construction budgets, funding sources, and project cost tracking throughout the lifecycle.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

3-5 years of CRE loan administration or related field

7+ years transferable experience in construction/real estate finance
