LendingOne, LLC seeks a high-performing Business Development Manager, New Construction to drive production of construction and development financing for real estate investors and builders. This fully remote US role reports to the SVP of Sales and focuses on sourcing, structuring, and closing new construction loans while delivering an exceptional borrower experience.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience in construction lending or real estate lending.
• Proven success in a quota-driven, commission-based sales environment.
• Strong understanding of construction financing, timelines, and investor needs.
• Self-sourcing ability and building lasting referral relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple loans at different stages.
• Customer-first mindset with a solutions-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Source and originate new construction and Build-to-Rent loan opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of developers, builders, investors, and referral partners.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers from inquiry to closing.
• Structure financing solutions aligned with product guidelines and borrower goals.
• Collect and review borrower documentation for complete loan submissions.
• Collaborate with underwriting, credit, and operations to move loans efficiently.
• Proactively identify and help resolve deal challenges for timely closings.
• Maintain communication with borrowers to manage expectations and experience.
• Represent LendingOne in the marketplace through networking and events.
• Meet or exceed production, revenue, and pull-through goals.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and lending guidelines.
