Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a Construction Foreman to lead carpenters and laborers on active job sites in Dallas, TX. This role requires reading blueprints, planning tasks, and ensuring safety and quality while coordinating with project managers.

The candidate should have five+ years in carpentry leadership, experience with drywall and basic electrical/plumbing tasks, and strong communication skills for quick decision-making and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience supervising carpenters.
• Experience reading blueprints and project plans.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate a crew of carpenters and laborers on active job sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications; communicate scope clearly to crew members
• Plan daily tasks, assign work, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope
• Construct frameworks and oversee installation of walls, floors, and door/window frames; oversee drywall
• Oversee electrical, plumbing, and concrete work as needed
• Ensure safety and quality control; train and mentor crew
• Track progress and report updates to management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient job site
