Job summary

EquipmentShare in Dallas, TX is hiring a Construction Foreman to lead carpenters and laborers on active job sites. You will read blueprints, plan tasks, oversee framing, drywall, and fixtures, and ensure safety and quality while guiding the crew.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years experience in carpentry and supervision.
• Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent field experience.
• Trade school or vocational training preferred.
• Supervisory or foreman experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a crew of carpenters and laborers on active job sites.
• Read blueprints and interpret drawings; communicate scope clearly to the crew.
• Plan daily tasks, assign work, and keep projects on schedule.
• Construct and oversee framing, walls, floors, and door/window frames.
• Oversee installation of structures and fixtures (doors, cabinets, drywall, trim).
• Direct drywall installation, finishing, and repairs; basic electrical/plumbing as needed.
• Ensure safety, inspect work for quality, and enforce standards.
• Train and develop crew members to improve skills and productivity.
