Jobot is seeking a Construction Defect Defense Attorney to join our team remotely. This role focuses on California‑based construction defect defense matters, with exposure to personal injury and general liability, on a 100% remote basis for candidates nationwide.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction defect defense, a California Bar in good standing, and recent California litigation experience. You will manage cases from inception through resolution with strong support staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Construction Defect defense experience.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• Recent California litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of California civil procedure and court systems.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of construction defect and personal injury defense matters.
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and briefs; handle written discovery and depositions.
• Work closely with clients, insurance carriers, and experts.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Develop case strategy and manage files independently.
• Collaborate with a strong team of attorneys and litigation support staff.
• Meet the 1800 billable hour requirement with strong support staff and efficient workflow.
