Jobgether, listed on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Conservation Director based in the United States for a fully remote leadership role overseeing a diverse portfolio of environmental and community initiatives.

You will lead a geographically distributed team, manage grant-funded programs, ensure compliance and budgeting, and advance partnerships with agencies, nonprofits, and funders to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years experience managing conservation/environment programs.
• 3+ years supervising staff.
• Experience managing complex, grant-funded programs with multiple funding sources.
• Experience with federal grants, cooperative agreements, contracts, pass-through funding, and related compliance.
• Proven ability to manage multimillion-dollar program budgets and forecasts.
• Experience translating strategic priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
• Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building partnerships with government agencies, nonprofits, funders, and community-based organizations.
• Experience working with agencies such as US Forest Service, NPS, EPA, NOAA, DOI preferred.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams in remote work environments is preferred.
