Job summary

Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join our Conflicts team in Atlanta. The role requires 2+ years of law firm conflicts experience and familiarity with Intapp or equivalent software.

You will perform conflicts searches, analyze results, and assist in resolving potential ethical conflicts for new matters and lateral moves. The position emphasizes strong research and communication skills, collaboration with counsel, and the ability to work remotely outside standard

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a law firm conflicts department (Intapp preferred).
• Working knowledge of professional responsibility and legal ethics rules pertaining to conflicts.
• Experience handling lateral conflicts is preferred.
• Strong multitasking and accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Define effective search strategies and conduct conflicts searches for new business and lateral matters.
• Analyze, articulate and communicate search results to attorneys, suggesting resolutions.
• Perform comprehensive corporate research to determine affiliations and relationships.
• Collaborate with Conflicts Counsel and firm attorneys to aid in conflicts resolution.
• Draft engagement letters, conflict waivers and ethical screen memorandums for review.
• Assist in ongoing review and clean-up of client/matter information and conflicts database.
• Provide excellent customer service to legal assistants and firm attorneys.
• Willingness to work remotely outside normal business hours as needed.
