Jobot is partnering with a national law firm seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join remotely. The role involves defining search strategies, performing conflicts checks for new matters and lateral moves, and collaborating with counsel to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of conflicts analysis experience in a law firm, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication. Remote work offered from within the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 1+ years of conflicts analysis experience in a law firm.
• Knowledge of professional responsibility and ethics rules pertaining to conflicts.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define effective search strategies and conduct conflicts searches for new business and lateral matters.
• Analyze corporate affiliations and relationships using online databases.
• Collaborate with Conflicts Counsel, General Counsel, and firm attorneys to aid in conflicts resolution.
• Draft engagement letters, conflict waivers and ethical screen memorandums.
• Assist in large-scale review and cleanup of client/matter information and conflicts database.
• Provide excellent customer service to legal assistants and firm attorneys.
• Ability to work remotely outside normal business hours as needed.
