Job summary

Type A Events is seeking a highly organized Conference Program Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of client meetings, conferences, and events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Remote role with preferred locations across the United States; travel for programs is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Event Management or related field and 2+ years meeting planning experience are expected to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field.
• 2+ years of meeting planning experience.
• Ability to travel and work on-site for programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conference planning activities and manage assigned project elements.
• Collaborate with team members to determine objectives and requirements for meetings and conferences.
• Create and maintain event documentation, including meeting minutes, weekly reports, and post-conference client reports.
• Help manage sponsorship opportunities and planning.
• Prepare documents for onsite operations.
• Coordinate event logistics, including accommodations, transportation, facilities, catering, and signage.
