Job summary

CCSA seeks a Manager, Conference & Events to plan and deliver high-quality conferences, meetings and special events across the organization. You will coordinate logistics, manage timelines, and collaborate with vendors, sponsors, speakers, and internal teams to ensure memorable experiences for members and partners.

Remote-friendly role with California preference; requires strong project management, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in event coordination or related field.
• Experience with venue, catering, AV, and onsite operations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and execution of CCSA's annual conference, ticketed events, in-person/virtual meetings, and special events.
• Maintain project timelines, task lists, and planning documents using Smartsheet, Box, and other project management tools.
• Coordinate event logistics, including venue, catering, audiovisual, transportation, lodging, shipping, and other operational needs.
• Provide onsite event support, including setup, registration, room monitoring, troubleshooting, and breakdown.
