Job summary

Oliver James Group is recruiting a Regulatory Compliance Officer to help oversee regulatory controls, advise on product approvals, and support cross-border activities in a fully remote setup. The role requires hands-on PARP experience, EU insurance regulation knowledge (Solvency II and IDD), and fluent English.

You will collaborate with an international team to maintain compliant processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Compliance experience in the insurance or banking industry.
• Hands-on experience with a product approval and review process (PARP).
• Good regulatory knowledge, preferably of EU insurance regulation such as Solvency II and IDD.
• Fluent English.
• Located in Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain or France.

Responsibilities

• Lead monitoring and testing of the controls covering compliance exposures and follow up with owners.
• Support the product approval and review process (PARP) from a compliance perspective for new products and changes.
• Act as the central point of contact for compliance questions and provide clear, practical answers.
• Support regulatory license applications and cross-border activity passporting into new markets.
• Review and improve the onboarding framework to ensure checks are consistent and repeatable.
• Review and update compliance policies and procedures to align with regulation and business needs.
• Support board and regulatory reporting by preparing and checking the compliance input.
