Job summary

Independence American Insurance Co seeks an Associate Regulatory Compliance Specialist to support end-to-end regulatory change management, monitor new laws, analyze legislation, and communicate requirements across the organization. Responsible for tracking evidence of compliance and supporting investigations and reviews.

Remote – USA, full-time role reporting to the Director of Compliance with opportunities to contribute to policy, procedures, and training while adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or equivalent experience in compliance, law, or related field is preferred.
• Experience in health, property & casualty, or regulatory compliance within insurance is a plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and ability to communicate requirements to business owners.

Responsibilities

• Reviews laws for applicability and communicates requirements to owners.
• Maintains a knowledge repository on regulations and changes.
• Trains stakeholders on regulatory requirements and mitigates compliance risks.
• Monitors timelines, coordinates responses, and reports to leadership.
