Job summary

Organogenesis is seeking a Compliance Counsel to ensure regulatory and policy compliance across the US, focusing on Sunshine and state reporting. This remote-ready role partners with multiple departments to strengthen controls and advance business objectives with ethical rigor.

The ideal candidate holds a JD with license, has 1+ year in healthcare compliance, and can train staff while guiding risk-based programs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate with active law license required.
• 1+ year of Healthcare Compliance experience required.
• Experience with US Transparency reporting strongly preferred.
• Ability to partner cross-functionally, counsel effectively, and inspire support for legal/compliance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to fine details.
• Analytical thinker capable of autonomous decision making in high risk, high complexity matters.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an expert on compliance and US Transparency reporting and oversee Sunshine and state reporting processes.
• Develop and deliver training to educate the organization on responsibilities, ethics, and policies.
• Assist in developing the annual compliance work plan reflecting regulatory risk assessment.
• Coordinate internal compliance reviews and monitoring activities.
• Provide support to VP of Healthcare Compliance on corporate initiatives.
