Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Complex Transactions Representative to serve as the final escalation for transaction-based customer issues and billing disputes, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely resolutions for residential and small commercial accounts.

In a primarily work-from-home environment, you will analyze data in SAP, research account histories, apply credits or debits, and communicate clearly with customers to restore confidence in our service and prevent recurring issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer-facing problem solving experience.
• Experience with SAP/CCS in development or execution is strongly preferred.
• Ability to analyze accounts, diagnose issues, and apply solutions.

Responsibilities

• Resolve highly complex issues on residential and small commercial accounts.
• Process credits/debits and generate corrected invoices as needed.
• Research accounts in SAP to determine issue origin (enrollments, moves, reads, switches).
• Interact with market entities to research and resolve issues.
• Communicate clearly with customers to diffuse frustration and build trust.
