Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Sales Support Associate to act as the subject matter expert on our retail energy operations, processes, and systems. You will support NRG Sales originators to drive revenue through accurate pricing, contract preparation, and customer-facing activity.

The role requires 2+ years in sales or customer service, solid knowledge of utility rules, and strong analytical and communication skills in a hybrid work setting in Hawaii.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years experience in sales, marketing, or customer service.
• Knowledge of utility rules and requirements for retail energy suppliers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and verify Power and Natural Gas usage information.
• Ensure accurate deal structure of Power, Natural Gas, and other product offerings.
• Price and prepare proposals/contracts and assist in generating revenue.
• Create proposals and contracts for Power and Natural Gas customers.
• Maintain SLA productivity targets in managing deal setups and delivering RFPs on time.
• Adjudicate and approve credit for small customers via utility invoice review and internal pay history review.
