Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies is seeking an experienced property claims professional to remotely oversee complex property claims in the Southern Region. A candidate residing in the southern United States is preferred.

Salary range is $90,000 - $120,000 annually with eligible annual bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance. The role requires independent decision making, strong communication, and proficiency in Xactimate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and insurance designations preferred.
• Five+ years of demonstrated expertise in property claim handling.
• Experience with coverage forms, policies and claims procedures.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and adjust large and complex property claims in the United States.
• Analyze property coverage forms to include business income and extra expense.
• Resolve questions of coverage and value of claims.
• Prepare and/or evaluate estimates.
• Assist in catastrophe situations.
• Engage in proactive claims handling, while providing superior claims service.
• Recommend timely and adequate reserves for the ultimate claim payment.
• Prepare detailed narrative factual reports and statements of loss.
• Educate Field Claims in property claims handling.
