Job summary

Headquarters Property Claims seeks an experienced property claims professional to remotely oversee complex property claims in the Southern Region. A candidate residing in the southern part of the United States is preferred.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (insurance designations preferred) and five+ years of property claim handling experience, with proficiency in coverage forms, policies and claims procedures. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and insurance designations preferred.
• Five or more years of demonstrated expertise in property claim handling.
• Experience with coverage forms, policies and claims procedure.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and adjust large and complex property claims in the United States.
• Analyze property coverage forms to include business income and extra expense.
• Resolve questions of coverage and value of claims.
• Assist in catastrophe situations.
• Engage in proactive claims handling and provide superior claims service.
• Recommend timely and adequate reserves for the ultimate claim payment.
• Prepare detailed narrative reports and statements of loss.
• Assist in education of Field Claims in property claims handling.

Salary:

The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
