Job summary

Grange Insurance is seeking a Claims PL Casualty Complex Representative to investigate, evaluate, and negotiate settlements for complex PL casualty liability claims in a remote capacity.

You will handle claims with limited supervision, maintain relationships with agents and customers, and report to management on large losses and reinsurance considerations. A state adjuster license may be required, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years claims experience with at least 3 years in casualty claims handling preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; proficient with a computer.
• State adjusters’ license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Investigates, evaluates and adjusts assigned complex liability claims within authority.
• Summarizes cases and submits for approval; handles large losses and reports to CAB.
• Maintains positive relationships with internal/external customers and agents.
