Job summary

Grange Insurance seeks a Claims CL Casualty General Liability Representative (GLPD) for a remote role. You will investigate, evaluate, and negotiate settlements on assigned Commercial General Liability property damage claims to promote retention or renewal with Grange.

Requires high school diploma plus 5 years claims experience; bachelor’s degree preferred. 2+ years CG liability property claims handling preferred. Strong communication and organization skills essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years claims experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• For property-focused role, 2+ years handling commercial general liability property claims; Construction Defect experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, critical thinking, and PC proficiency required; state adjuster license may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve assigned claims within authorized limits.
• Handle more complex claims with minimal supervision.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and agents.
• Assist in building relationships with agents, insureds and Commercial Lines through regular communications.
• Serve as point person for large accounts requiring specialized communication.
• Maintain proper reserving through proactive investigation and ongoing review.
• Assist other departments with investigations during high workload periods.
• Manage diary system and workload with limited supervision.
