Job summary

ProPetro Services, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Completions Engineer Trainee (EIT) in Midland, TX. The program prepares you for progression into a Remote Completions Engineering role within six months.

You will shadow field operations, learn hydraulic fracturing equipment, monitor data, and support pre-job readiness, live job communication, and post-job debriefs while maintaining strict HSE compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering or related STEM.
• Willing to learn both field-based and remote hydraulic fracturing operations.
• Organized digital workspace and disciplined documentation practices.
• Must be a critical thinker who can learn new technical systems and problem solve.
• Willing to be assertive and speak up about unsafe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of hydraulic fracturing operations and field-to-ROC communication.
• Participate in field shadowing to learn wellsite operations and crew workflows.
• Gain exposure to fluid systems, lab testing procedures, and material performance.
• Support real-time frac monitoring with accurate data tracking and timelines.
