Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 4+ years supervisory/lead experience in healthcare, human services, care coordination or related environment.
• At least 2+ years in public outreach, community engagement, or external affairs.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing consumer-facing programs and staff.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid, healthcare delivery systems, or public sector programs.
• Ability to travel up to 25% within California as needed.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish) preferred in the qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff responsible for executing a statewide community outreach plan.
• Coordinate outreach activities with Provider Outreach, Care Coordinators and case management staff.
• Ensure outreach activities comply with state guidance, Medicaid regulations, and contract performance standards.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and partnership outreach.
• Advise leadership on environmental challenges and opportunities and create engagement opportunities.
• Support strategies that improve appointment adherence and completion rates.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and related privacy and security rules.
