Stride, Inc. is seeking a Community Engagement Specialist for the North Carolina Virtual Academy (NCVA) with a focus on welcoming new students and families to the virtual school program.

The role supports student success by coordinating Strong Start processes and facilitating family engagement activities in partnership with Learning Coaches and teachers. You will develop and deliver Learning Coach education programs, provide online parent trainings on goal setting, time management, and study

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field is required.
• Minimum two years experience working with families or Learning Coaches is preferred.
• Ability to clear required background check and work in a virtual school environment.

Responsabilités

• Manages Strong Start process for new students and Learning Coaches.
• Facilitates Strong Start orientation sessions and tracks invitations and engagement.
• Acts as a liaison among students, Learning Coaches and teachers to strengthen communication.
• Oversees weekly office hours to support families through Strong Start.
• Develops family engagement trainings and Learning Coach education programs.
• Maintains internal and external communications for newsletters, events, and social media.
