Job summary

MAY Management Services, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Community Association Manager (CAM) to oversee portfolios remotely for Orange County properties, with a preference for local residents in Orange/Seminole.

You will attend board meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, manage annual meetings, review budgets, supervise staff and vendors, ensure compliance with Florida law, and deliver timely reports to boards and Presidents.

Qualifications

• CAM license is required by law.
• Associates or BA degree or commensurate experience.
• Minimum 2 years of community management experience.
• Community management and accounting courses.

Responsibilities

• Attends Board meetings, provide Boards with administrative support, prepares agendas, minutes, and distribute Board packages with agreed upon lead-time.
• Respond within 24 hours to Board requests directed to the Community Manager. Provides President with timely status reports.
• M anages Annual meeting, mails voting proxies and ballots to owners and performs other associated duties.
• Educates Board members on Florida law requirements, organization, conduct of meetings and corporate records to improve the Board’s effectiveness and efficiency.
• Supervises Association’s contractors and vendors.
• Coordinates with Client Accounting to develop Budgets and timely financial reports.
