Job summary

League of Conservation Voters is offering a Spring 2027 Communications Internship. The role supports the Communications Department with blogs, press materials, social content, and web updates.

You will help distribute news clips, maintain press lists and assist with events, while centering racial justice and equity in all work. The position is Regular Remote Work, up to 40 hours weekly, with a duration of up to 12 weeks starting January 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience or coursework in communications is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Interest in environmental justice and democracy priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Communications Department with external communications across platforms.
• Assist in drafting blog posts, press statements, releases, and social copy.
• Load content to websites and assist with website projects.
• Distribute daily news clips and maintain press lists.
• Help coordinate events and create culturally competent materials.
