Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Common Criteria Security Engineer for a leading cybersecurity and technology organization. This is a remote role with EST hours and international focus on European clients. You will lead certification projects, develop security documentation, and coordinate with labs and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity, hands-on with Common Criteria, NIAP, and FIPS 140-3, and strong communication for global engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, networking, security engineering, certification, or compliance-focused roles.
• Hands-on experience with Common Criteria, NIAP, FIPS 140-3, or comparable security certification frameworks.
• Understanding of secure development practices, risk management, and security controls.
• Experience creating technical documentation and working with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and project management skills supporting international customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Common Criteria certification projects, including planning, testing support, evidence collection, and certification submissions.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure solutions meet security and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain certification documentation, security targets, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with external laboratories, certification bodies, and customer stakeholders throughout evaluation processes.
• Assess product security controls and provide recommendations to support certification readiness.
