Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Common Criteria Security Engineer for a leading cybersecurity organization in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area. This role is remote with EST hours and focuses on Common Criteria certification for European clients.

You will lead certification projects, coordinate with engineering and product teams, develop security targets and technical reports, and manage submissions with external laboratories and cert bodies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity or security engineering roles.
• Hands-on with Common Criteria, NIAP, or FIPS 140-3.
• Understanding secure development, risk management, controls.
• Experience creating technical docs and cross-functional work.
• Excellent communication and project management for international clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead Common Criteria certification projects with planning and submissions.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on security/compliance.
• Develop and maintain certification docs, security targets, reports.
• Coordinate with labs, bodies, and customer stakeholders.
• Assess product security controls and certify readiness.
