First American Financial is seeking a Commercial Title Officer to join our team. You will perform title searches for commercial transactions, analyze records, and assist in coordinating resolution and completion of the title process across varied sites.

You will support pricing, documentation review, and select appropriate write-ups for coverage. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial title related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• National commercial experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform or review complete title searches for commercial transactions.
• Analyze records (liens, judgments, easements, surveys) to verify ownership and legal description.
• Price commitments, endorsements, policies, and guarantees using fee schedules.
• Review and approve deeds, operating agreements, and corporate resolutions.
• Select write-ups for standard and extended coverage.
• In some locations, consult with attorneys for escalation as needed.
