Job summary

First American’s National Commercial Services unit in Atlanta is seeking a Commercial Title Officer to perform title searches and analyze related records for commercial real estate transactions. You will coordinate resolution of the commercial title process in a fast-paced environment and contribute to accurate, timely closings.

The role requires 3–5 years of title experience, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial title related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform or review complete title searches for commercial transactions.
• Analyze records (liens, judgments, easements, surveys) to determine ownership.
• Properly price commitments, endorsements, policies and guarantees.
• Review and approve deeds, operating agreements, and resolutions.
• Select write-ups for commitments and policies for standard/extended coverage.
• Consult with attorneys on matters requiring escalation where applicable.
