Job summary

Remote Jobs is seeking a Commercial Property Manager VA to support Indianapolis property operations from a remote location. The role involves managing leasing activity, maintenance requests, and documentation with minimal supervision, while coordinating with tenants, vendors, architects, and the property team.

You will handle vacancies, tenant requests, floor plan updates, and move‑in/move‑out processes, using AppFolio and related tools to keep data accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in property management with ability to handle actual workflows
• Strong written and verbal English communication with tenants, applicants, vendors and stakeholders
• Excellent proficiency in AppFolio
• Ability to manage multiple active property-management tasks and documents
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Attention to vacancy information, lease documents, work orders and tenant records
• Ability to work independently in a remote, async environment
• Comfort communicating early when issues are blocked or information is missing

Responsibilities

• Keep commercial vacancies current on LoopNet MLS including unit status and availability
• Coordinate floor plan updates with architects and update marketing materials
• Maintain accurate unit information across internal records to prevent outdated vacancy data
• Update floor plans using AutoCAD or another floor plan editing tool
• Screen and organize rental applications and gather required information
• Coordinate lease signings and ensure documents are complete
• Manage move-in and move-out processes and follow-ups
• Track maintenance requests through completion and escalate as needed
• Develop and maintain standardized document formats and layouts
• Respond to tenant and guest requests for common areas, events, and building access
• Plan and coordinate building events with vendors and ensure policy compliance
