Job summary

Coterie Insurance is seeking a Property Claims Specialist to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve commercial property claims. You will partner with Claims leadership and external stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate outcomes while upholding regulatory and carrier guidelines.

The role requires 5+ years in insurance claims, licensure in applicable states, and strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. This is a 100% remote position with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategy to resolve commercial property claims with moderate to high severity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process, product, and initiative delivery.
• Investigate claims and review insured materials and reports.
• Identify coverage issues and draft position letters; involve coverage counsel when needed.
• Assess coverage and damages to inform reserves; maintain diaries and respond to inquiries.
