Job summary

Mobilitas, a CSAA Insurance Group spin-out, is seeking a Commercial Pricing Actuary (Mobility) to work remotely across the United States. You will support commercial auto pricing, develop portfolio analyses, and lead moderate-scale projects.

This role emphasizes actuarial rigor, collaboration with product, finance and claims, and mentorship for junior staff. Prior experience in personal lines pricing and proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and Radar are valued.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area with 5+ years of post-bachelor experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis
• Or Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area and 3 years experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis
• Strong analytical and communication skills in a client-facing role
• Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, Radar, etc.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial auto pricing, including individual account pricing and portfolio-level analyses
• Conduct actuarially sound statistical analysis by selecting appropriate data sources and making assumptions to develop recommendations for pricing
• Evaluates analytical work and documents assumptions, methods, sources and considerations clearly
• Prepares actuarial findings for technical and non-technical audiences
• Mentor more junior colleagues and collaborate with cross-functional teams
