WEX is seeking a Commercial Paralegal to support the Commercial Payments line of business in the Americas. The role involves drafting and revising contracts, handling agreement migrations in Malbek, and managing the lifecycle of transactions from intake to execution.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of paralegal experience with commercial contracts, familiarity with CLM tools, and in-house experience. Remote work options are available from multiple U.S. locations.

Qualifications

5+ years paralegal or equivalent experience with commercial contracts and transactional matters.
Experience with legal technologies and contract lifecycle management is preferred.
In-house experience supporting a business line on the customer side is desirable.
Ability to learn IT applications and systems; strong communication and judgment.

Responsibilities

Draft and revise commercial contracts such as NDAs, customer contracts, credit agreements, service agreements and related documents.
Review customer requested changes and coordinate with attorneys for feedback and approvals.
Assist attorneys with preparation, review and filing of transaction documents for the Corporate Payments line.
Assist in migrating legacy contracts to the new contract lifecycle management system (Malbek).
Manage contract intake, routing, redlining, approvals and post-signing updates in the CLM system.
Handle legal matter workflow, including matter intake and queues in Xakia.
Collaborate with Finance, Compliance and Risk and support strategic projects.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and independent decision-making.
