Franklin Professional Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines P&C Placement Specialist to market, negotiate, and place new commercial insurance business.

You will work with producers, account managers, and underwriters to secure competitive coverage while building strong carrier relationships. The ideal candidate has deep commercial lines knowledge, proven placement experience, and the ability to manage multiple submissions in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• At least 5 years of commercial P&C insurance experience within an agency, brokerage, or carrier.
• Proven experience marketing and placing new commercial insurance business.
• Strong knowledge of commercial coverages, including General Liability, Property, Commercial Auto, Umbrella, Workers’ Compensation, and Professional Liability.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Collaborative, client-focused approach and adaptability to changing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Review new business submissions for completeness, accuracy, and marketability.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies for commercial P&C risks.
• Submit applications to appropriate insurance carriers and wholesale partners.
• Negotiate pricing, coverage terms, and conditions with underwriters.
• Analyze proposals and recommend coverage solutions that align with client needs.
• Build and maintain strong carrier and wholesaler relationships.
• Stay informed on carrier appetites, underwriting guidelines, and market trends.
• Partner with producers to understand client risk profiles and placement strategies.
• Coordinate with account management teams to ensure a smooth transition after placement.
• Provide technical guidance on complex risks and coverage structures.
• Assist with insurance proposals and review quotes, binders, and policy documents for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records in Applied Epic and follow applicable compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve submission quality, workflows, and placement results.
