Job summary

C3 Risk & Insurance Services in San Diego is seeking a Certificate Specialist to support client managers and handle insurance endorsements and servicing. You will work with underwriting, clients, and carriers to issue proofs of insurance and gather documentation for renewals.

The role requires 1-3 years in insurance, a P&C license, familiarity with Applied Epic, and strong MS Office skills. Remote work options are available, with competitive pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of industry experience in related duties.
• Strong knowledge of insurance terminology and broker functions.
• Active P&C license.
• Pursuing insurance designations is encouraged.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to prioritize tasks and communicate clearly.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with Applied Epic preferred.
• Experience supporting Construction risks in CA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand contractual language and coordinate endorsements with underwriting.
• Support Client Managers on designated book of business.
• Assist day-to-day servicing: issue proofs of insurance.
• Gather documents for new/renewal marketing (prior policies, loss runs).
• Enter data for quotes into carrier systems.
• Prepare summaries of insurance for renewals or mid-term reviews.
• Process endorsement transactions with carriers and log in system.
• Review binders, policies, endorsements, audits; deliver to client.
• Provide invoices and monitor accounts receivable for timely payment.
• Enter claims data and transmit to carrier as needed.
• Review and deliver premium audits to clients.
• Backup team in other functions as needed.
• Maintain files per company policy and DoI standards.
• Maintain strong verbal and written client/internal communication.
• Adhere to Quality Management Program expectations.
