Job summary

COVU, Inc. is seeking a high-performing Commercial Lines Sales Agent to close national accounts from a fully remote setup.

You will prospect, quote, place, and manage commercial lines while acting as a trusted risk advisor to business owners across the country. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of licensed experience in commercial lines, an active P&C license in multiple states, and a passion for building relationships.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license in 5+ states (TX, FL, NY, CA, MA)
• 5+ years of experience as a licensed agent in commercial lines
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding new business targets
• Deep understanding of commercial insurance products and underwriting guidelines
• AMS proficiency with agency management systems to quote and manage accounts
• CRM proficiency in modern tools to manage sales pipeline

Responsibilities

• Drive new commercial revenue by prospecting, referrals, and using tech-enabled tools to manage your pipeline
• Win new accounts nationally across multiple states using broad carrier access to quote, place and close
• Act as a trusted risk advisor: assess exposures and recommend coverage mix
• Find cross-sell and upsell opportunities to grow premium
• Deliver a client experience that earns loyalty and referrals
