Job summary

A property and casualty insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager for a fully remote, temp-to-perm position. This role involves providing excellent customer service, educating clients about coverage, and managing new and renewal business. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, knowledge of commercial lines, and active licenses in their state and Massachusetts. Competitive pay range is $35-40 per hour, with additional benefits including medical and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or Assistant Account Manager.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial lines coverage, specifically habitational and construction.
• Quoting experience with carriers (preferred).
• Resident of and licensed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire or Maine.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by responding to policyholders and carriers in a timely manner.
• Assist in marketing new and renewal business, determine premiums, and prepare proposals.
• Quote new and renewal business.
• Maintain client files accurately and consistently document conversations.
