Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines in Southern California. You will manage an assigned book of business, retain clients, and support new business while coordinating day-to-day administrative tasks and customer service to resolve complex issues.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with an active P&C license (CIC preferred). Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty (P&C) licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolve complex issues.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
