Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager Associate for Commercial Lines with a strong track record in account administration and client service.

The role supports the account team, Producer, and assigned accounts while ensuring accuracy in policy handling and renewals. The ideal candidate will hold an active P&C license (CIC or equivalent preferred) and demonstrate excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active P&C license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and assigned group of accounts.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals and conduct renewal activities.
• Conduct client research, gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, evaluate and negotiate coverages and pricing, prepare and present proposals, bind coverage, and follow up for policy issuance.
• Process tasks accurately and within required timeframes.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor activity/suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain frequent, transparent communication with the account team regarding workload status and issues.
