Job summary

Brown & Brown in Seattle, WA is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. This role supports Producers in placing new and renewal business, prepares applications, and coordinates with carriers to ensure timely coverage delivery.

Responsibilities include issuing documentation, communicating with clients, and maintaining client files while staying current on industry trends to provide informed guidance and solutions. Remote work option applies for certain time zones.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of recent agency experience handling the service of multi-line commercial lines book of business.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with AMS360 and Image Right (Preferred).
• This position may require travel and valid vehicle; MVR may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assists Producers in the placement of new and renewal business.
• Prepare and send Future ACORD applications to market and for renewal indications.
• Issue certificates of insurance and other documentation as needed.
• Compose or assist in composing highly technical or sensitive correspondence.
• Translate highly technical information for client understanding.
• Compile applications, negotiate with underwriters, and prepare proposals for new/renewal business.
• Resolve policy and coverage related concerns for clients, carriers, and Producers.
• Communicate negative actions to clients with solutions.
• Bind or place coverage with acceptable carriers.
• Set up and maintain electronic files in the Agency Management System.
