Qualifications

• Experience generating loans and a track record of developing new business opportunities.
• Background in underwriting, portfolio management, or credit analysis.
• Strong financial and analytical skills to assess performance, creditworthiness, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business and commercial lending opportunities across Michigan through relationship development and outreach.
• Build relationships with business members, understanding goals and recommending lending solutions.
• Originate loans while supporting sound credit quality and alignment with risk standards.
• Collaborate with underwriting, credit analysis, and portfolio teams to ensure smooth closing and member experience.
• Support ongoing portfolio monitoring, financial reviews, and risk awareness; grow toward Commercial Lending Officer.
• Progress toward becoming a Commercial Lending Officer within ~2 years based on performance.
