Job summary

Farmers Insurance District Office – Scottsdale & Greater Phoenix is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Producer or proven B2B sales professional to develop, manage, and grow a commercial book of business across the Phoenix metro area.

The role focuses on prospecting, networking, referrals, and collaboration with Farmers agency owners to uncover opportunities, deliver tailored coverage, and drive recurring renewal income.

Qualifications

• Experience selling commercial property and casualty insurance.
• Ability to prospect and build a referral network.
• Strong communication with business owners and decision-makers.
• Arizona Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain quickly.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and grow a profitable commercial insurance book of business.
• Prospect for new commercial clients through networking, referrals, and local business development.
• Partner with Farmers agency owners to identify opportunities within existing customer portfolios.
• Conduct commercial insurance reviews to assess risks and recommend solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business owners and decision-makers in Scottsdale and Greater Phoenix.
• Establish referral partnerships with CPAs, realtors, lenders, attorneys, payroll providers.
• Quote and sell BOP, Workers’ Comp, Commercial Auto, GL, and Commercial Property.
• Maintain an active pipeline and generate new business opportunities.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing.
• Identify cross-selling to increase client retention and expansion.
